A Brief History of ConveyorDesigns Inc.

During the last two decades DEM (Discrete Element Modeling) has been evolving as a major Analysis tool for Engineered Flow Control Chute Design. Our professionals have more than fifteen years' experience in DEM Analysis as applied to successful Chute Designs and associated processing for effective transfer Point Design in material handling.

 

 

2000 - 2008

 

Mankuzhi Namboo Started Design Engineering in Material Handling Industry for Mining and Associated Industries in the USA from 2000 after a successful career for about 15 years in the Middle East and about 12 years in India.

 

Namboo was involved in Designing Vibrating Screens,

Hydraswing (Patent Pending) Radial Stackers, Road portables and

a dozen Cable suspended Variable and Fixed Height Mast Stackers

and Overland Conveyors, Telescoping Stackers, to name a few.

 

 

2009 - 2017

 

Namboo joined Continental Engineering Ltd, led by the Material Handling Industry Genius late Mr. William G Zimmermann, executing Projects mainly in Designing Engineered Flow Control Chutes and Overland Conveyors for Mining and Energy Sector. We were mainly using DEM (Discrete Element Modeling) Analysis as the Design Tool for the Engineered Chutes and Belt Analyst for the Conveyor Design and Analysis. - both software by Overland Conveyor Co.

 

Namboo was with design startup for US Steel Zug Island Material Handling Project under Kolman Engineering Contract, designed Engineered Flow Control Chutes  - for more than 120 transfers during the period for various companies.

He was responsible for Design of Ship loader Conveyors, OSHA and MSHA Compliant Industrial Safety Guarding (for Guardsafeguarding) , Developing load testing Procedure for Guarding confirming to Industry Standards..

Namboo Developed Reverse Engineering techniques using 3D Laser scanning for 3D Data generation and plant upgrades.

 

 

2018 - Current

 

After the Company was wound up when Mr. Zimmermann passed away Namboo started the ConveyorDesigns Inc. in 2018 with more than 45 years Design experience to his credit.

 

Our Main Design Activities:

Reverse Engineering by 3D Laser Scanning for all Plants and equipment for Chemical, Fertilizer, Oil and Gas,  Industries in Energy Sector, Agriculture,  Refineries - to name a few.

Design Of Steel Structures

Engineered Flow Control Chutes by DEM Analysis

Design of Overland Conveyors

Mechanical Engineering Consultancy

 

In addition to Namboo, ConveyorDesigns Inc. have three Engineering Professionals bringing in about 75 years experience with them for Engineering Design and 3D Modeling.  Our two highly reputed Professional Associates handles complex problems in Engineering Design and bring with them more than 90 years Professional expertise.
